Ocupei boa parte da tarde en traballar os datos da edición en Galicia no ano 2010, a partir do informe do ISBN. Como amosei na anotación que preparei onte e naqueloutra da pasada semana sobre o Comercio Interior do Libro, a edición en galego, no difícil entorno das crises e dos tránsitos, goza dunha mala sáude de ferro. Mais tamén é certo, aí están os datos, que continuamos editando con pulo, mesmo máis títulos, e comezamos un tránsito decidido cara a edición dixital. Como continúa sendo moi esperanzador o apoio que reciben os libros en galego en eidos tan difíciles como a Narrativa para persoas adultas, a non ficción e os libros de divulgación, como o Gastronomía, sometidos a durísima competencia no mercado cos seus homólogos en castelán. E isto sen contar case sen axudas públicas ningunhas, fóra da adquisición de novidades para bibliotecas da Consellaría de Cultura e Turismo e as insuficientes axudas para a tradución, agora de carácter trienal. Sabemos que o noso futuro inmediato pasa por conter esa hemorraxia do libro de texto, aumentar o perímetro da nosa sociedade lectora e incorporar ao sector ao proceso sistemático de dixitalización de cada un dos seus fondos. Moita faena, si señor.
